L’Homme et la mer takes its text from the poem of the same name by Charles Baudelaire. The words evoke a sense of motion and power, sadness and longing. The music attempt to capture these emotions through broad pianistic gestures and lyrical melody.
Abraham and Isaac

Based on the biblical story of Abraham and Isaac, this choral piece explores the event in a dramatic form. Inspired by the works of Eric Whitacre, the piece utilizes a dense choral texture with a theatrical exploration of a well-known story.
Annabel Lee

Edgar Allan Poe’s classic poem, Annabel Lee, is written in a very metrical and lyrical way. This lends itself perfectly to a musical setting. The piece plays with Poe’s words, portraying both a sense of reminiscence and internal mourning.
